Here are a few questions this tumblr has received multiple times! I don’t want to spam this tumblr with message answers, or type out the same response over and over; it’s easier to have this here.
- How do I submit my own song/cover?
Firstly go to the submit page, then choose one of two options: submit a link or submit a video. If your music is posted in video form on a site like YouTube, you can copy/paste the embed code of the video directly into the submission form. If you can’t find an embed code, you can copy the URL to the video and submit that as a link. If you don’t have your song on YouTube, don’t worry! You can submit a link so that we may obtain/download the audio file (I recommend using a file-sharing site like mediafire) and it will be posted here. You may also submit a link to the song/video already posted on your blog, so we can reblog it directly from you.
- What website do you use to externally host .mp3 files?
- Can you post the download link to [album]?
Nope! If you want an album, you may obtain it legally or illegally by searching for it yourself.
- Who runs this blog?/Can I be added as a member and help run it?
Unfortunately, it’s only me running this blog. And I’d love to add members and get some help, but this is a main blog I made using a separate email, so I don’t have the option to add members!
- Your title for [song] was wrong/weird
Please tell me so I can fix it. I have fan-named gamerips of most of the soundtracks, so the names are sometimes incorrect and a little odd, because I just post them as they are named in my iTunes.
